Water cooled water chillers with storage tank and hermetic compressors.
Available with cooling capacities from 5 to 130 kW.
Equipped with a large capacity energy storage tank in which the water/refrigeration fluid heat exchanger is immersed. The chillers can therefore be used without needing to install a storage tank on the hydraulic circuit, thus simplifying its execution, reducing its bulk and making it more economic. The condenser is of the coaxial type and, on request, the chillers are supplied complete with a pressure-regulating valve to control the condensation pressure (necessary for water temperatures below 20-25°C).
The heat exchanger, characterized by high efficiency and negligible load losses, is of the fin-pack type and consists of copper tubes and aluminiun fins in the standard version, while the "non-ferrous" version features copper tubes and fins with brass connection piping. The tank may be supplied either in carbon or stainless steel. They may also be equipped with a jerry-can for open circuit operation with display of the water level.
They can be supplied with the pump already installed to be chosen from four available pumps with heads from 1 or 5 bar. Charging kits for operation both in closed (water pressure up to 6 bar) and open hydraulic circuits. Suitable for outdoor installation and for ambient temperatures up to 43°C.
Equipped with a microprocessor control unit with the possibility of remote supervision via computer and serial link-up to BMS systems.
