Twin-screw Phoenix compressors provide 6 or 8 step capacity control of the cooling capacity; therefore, each unit can optimise cooling capacity according to the power requirements of the users. Moreover, the use of screw compressors and the reduction of vibrations ensures a simple and compact cooling circuit without the need for "muffler" and vibration dampers.
Manufactured with innovative construction solutions to allow easy access to the cooling circuits and electrical control panel and with a innovative "trapezoidal" structure of the base which improves the cooling air flow to the condenser. Suitable for all climates, in fact, for each model, it's possibile to choose between four versions depending on the maximum ambient temperature of the installation location.
Sophisticated 3D modeling software techniques have allowed MTA designers to optimise the dimendions of the condenser coils. All models have two independent cooling circuits, ensuring the 50% of the cooling capacity is still available when maintenance is being carrier out on either one. For applications in which the noise generated by the chiller must be especially low, a "SSF" extra soundproofed version has been designed.
Suitable for outdoor installation, with base and housing made of galvanized carbon steel and painted with polyester powders (IP54 protection rated).
Versions available for maximum ambient temperatures up to 52 °C and for minimum ambient temperatures down to -20°C. Compressors and cooling circuits can be sequenced. Each model is equipped with a microprocessor control unit with the possibility of remote supervision via computer and serial link-up to BMS systems.
